New CZARFACE a 90’s ear buffet (Wu-Tang / Automator / Mixmaster Mike/Scratch Piklz vibes with a sprinkling of Company Flow)

I’m obviously a 90’s fan. This new CZARFACE is a nostalgia cannon.

I feel like I’m simultaneously listening to vintage Wu-Tang, peak Automator (Dr Octogon and Deltron), dystopian futuristic CoFlow with Mixmaster/Piklz creative freakiness.

I’ve always appreciated CZARFACE but this album is on loop right now. Love it. Needed it. Exceptional production, Deck, Meth, El-P…good lord. And no trap drums…actually I should that but happy to get a trap break.

Also did not expect Tom Hardy rapping. Holds his own and seems to be having fun.

Highlights for me are ‘Dragon Cannon’, ‘Mad Technology’ and the ‘Dr Yorgo’ and ‘Paul Befano’ mixology tracks. Love them.
