The debut album by record producer DJ Shadow, Endtroducing....., was recorded over a two year period between 1994 & 1996, primarily using an Akai MPC sampler and little other tools. A groundbreaking album that inspired countless artists both within and outside of hip hop, it has earned placements on numerous lists of the greatest hip hop albums, greatest albums of 1996, and more. It also ranks on the list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time by Rolling Stone magazine.
