Trap Rap Beats

Jehst

Anyone up on Jehst from Britain? Still think he's among the best to ever do it. Falling Down is a ridiculously good album.

Been in love with Jehst since I was 15, and will continue to sit on that man's dick until I'm dead. Play his music at my funeral.

Early stuff was sick and driven but when he came into his own voice, it was genius. Extra Sensory Perfection is still the most romantic rap song I've ever heard -- he sounded like Keats.

"She knocks and I let her in, a spoonful of sugar in my medicine."

But he has so much deep shit out there. PhD level political rapper. UK rap is generally great shit and unappreciated by the US, but he is their very best.

This is just one of his weaker songs, to give you a taste before you look up the rest of what he's done:

"The banshee-like screams of the people... Comprehension of the nuclear... what the fuck are we doing here... stuck in a backwards era... body count surrounding my feet" mannnnnn. Fuck. That one verse is mind-blowing and that's just him on a feature. Song is about the end of the world. That's him taking it easy. Read the lyrics, read all his lyrics.

Try his music, you utterly will not be disappointed.
