My whole life I've been rapping as an outlet, for myself and my small fan base. I get a couple thousand rotations on Soundcloud and I'm happy with that.
In the past, I've always just waited until that one Madlib beat or something came on Spotify. Something kinda obscure with a beat that didn't seem likely anyone has hopped on.
I just got that feeling now, watching my friend's Facebook video of him playing piano and his friend on a drum kit.
These days it's hard to find stuff in this watered down climate. Anyone know a good strategy? I could just listen to "rap instrumentals" but I'm looking for something raw and organic.
I usually type my favorite producer into Spotify but I need to expand. Thank you
