Trap Rap Beats

DISCUSSION] Are there tracks that you seemed to have gotten a different vibe from than everyone else? How so?

I feel like I'm going crazy. I've had The Infamous and Hell on Earth on repeat for the past month and decided to check out the YT comments under some of my favorite tracks from these albums out of curiosity.

Looked under QU Hectic and found that most people got an entirely different vibe from this instrumental than I did. Most people refer to this beat as dark and brooding. One that puts them in mind of the criminal acts in the middle of the night, or even as the backdrop to a horror scene.

To me this beat--with the soaring sax sample, the that lowkey synth(?) loop, and the up beat drums (at least compared to other tracks in the album, like eye for an eye for example)--has always had a lighter, almost uplifting vibe. Especially compared to other tracks on the album. When taken outside of the context of the lyrical content, the visuals of NYC that this instrumental inspires are a sunrise on a chilly, clear winter morning. The sun peaking through the buildings as you start your daily grind.

I've always thought there was a cool sort of juxtaposition between the lyrical content and the vibe of the instrumental, like sitting in the eye of a storm. A brief respite, where you can get a glimpse the sun before shit gets hectic.

I guess I'm the only one, idk. Have you guys had experiences like this? If so, from what tracks and how was your interpretation different?
