Hi all. I'm an English teacher in France and my students are interested in learning about the American dream. My husband pointed out that hiphop talks about it a lot. He suggested "The Message" so I'll be doing a lesson where we translate and discuss the lyrics of that song. What other songs in hiphop history come to mind as being good choices for the topic? I don't mind explicit lyrics.
