[DISCUSSION] Name an artist who’s fanbase is divided over what their best album is

on

There’s so many groups/artists that fall into this topic (e.g. OutKast, De La Soul, 2Pac, etc.) but I’m going to bring up Gang Starr because for the life of me I can’t pick out what their defining/best album would be. It’s between “Daily Operation”, “Hard To Earn”, and “Moment Of Truth”. Who are some of your favorite artists that don’t have that more obvious one “Illmatic”-type of album?
