Trap Rap Beats

[DISCUSSION] Westside Gunn - And Then You Pray For Me (24 Hours Later)

I think it’s safe to say this album wasn’t a spiritual sequel or successor to “Pray 4 Paris”, despite the album’s artwork. Gunn’s use of trap beats, and his flow over them, seems to be rather polarizing, more so than any of his previous work. What’s everybody’s thoughts? I personally think some of the highs are pretty high (‘KITCHEN LIGHTS’, ‘Kostas’), but some of the lows are amongst WSG’s lowest
