Does it even exist? I'm a big fan of hip hop and rap but it's been a while since I've caught up to the scene, instead, exploring the soundscapes of indie, shoegaze and black metal. I was wondering If there's something similar to Deathconsciousness in the hip hop genre. That album is legendary, from the conception, to production, the writing and story, to the themes, to even the philosophy.
Even if there's isn't a Deathconsciousness of Hip Hop, drop something you find dark and pessimistically, or abysmally depressing, not just cause of a break up or women or circumstances, but because depression is a fucking multi faceted monster.
