Trap Rap Beats

[DISCUSSION] eMC - The Show (15 Years Later)

Masta Ace was notorious for releasing concept albums that tell a whole story in the 2000s and his supergroup's debut, released on March 25th 2008, was no exception. After following his characters to "The Institute of Disposable Arts" on Disposable Arts (2001) and following him though Brooklyn and on a small tour on "A Long Hot Summer" (2004), The Show's story follows eMC on a day during their tour. It's probably the most biographical album of the three, given that eMC was indeed founded as a group after going on tour with Ace. The group consists of Masta Ace, Punchline, Wordsworth and Strick. The others have made names for themselves in underground rap circles as parts of Rawkus' Lyricist Lounge (Punch-N-Words) and being on Tommy Boy (Stricklin) respectively.
